Question 988276: if f(x)=4x^3+7x^2-x+c and f(2)=1, what is the value of c?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
f(x) = 4x^3 + 7x^2 - x + c
f(2) = 4(2)^3 + 7(2)^2 - 2 + c
f(2) = 32 + 28 - 2 +c
f(2) = 58 + c
1 = 58 + c
c = 1 - 58
c = -57
Hope this helps :-)
