The dimensions of the one on the left are 2 by 2
The dimensions of the one on the right are 3 by 2
--------
As they are arranged you have (2x2)*(3x2)
The "inner" dimensions are not the same so the
matrices cannot be multiplied.
--------------
If you could switch their positions so you would
have (3x2)(2x2) the "inner" dimensions would be
the same and you could multiply them.
