Question 901715: How many solutions does the equation have? 6 - A = 1/3(9a - 18)
Answer by harpazo(655)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6 - A = 1/3(9A - 18)
6 - A = (9A - 18)/3
3(6 - A) = 9A - 18
18 - 3A = 9A - 18
-3A - 9A = -18 - 18

-12A = -36
A = -36/-12
A = 36/12

A = 3
The only solution is A = 3.
