Question 346338: solve using cramers rule
2x+3y=4
4x+y=-2
Answer by BlackMamba2994(1) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
first you do the X set-up. Then the Y set-up
2x=A, 3y=B, 4=C, 4=D, Y(which is 1)=E and -2=F.c
The X set-up Looks like this:
(4)C (3)B 2(A) 4(C)
(-2)F (1)E 4(D) -2(F)
X=---------- Y=----------
(2)A (3)B 2(A) 3(B)
(4)D (1)E 4(D) 1(E)
Again cross multiply the top. And the Bottom. And It Should Be 4-6=-2 1
4*1 and -2*3 2*1 and 4*3 --- = X=---
2+12= 14 7
Again cross multiply the top. And the Bottom. And It Should Be
2*-2 and 4*3 2*1 and 4*3
-4+12=8 4
--- = Y=---
2+12=14 7
