Question 220252: For the following system, write the D,Dx,Dy,and Dz
You would need to use Cramer's Rule.
Then use Crammer's Rule to find the value of z.
-2x-3y-z=5
-x-2y-3z=-3
3x+3y+7z=2
This is what I got: z=dz/d=-18/-7=18/7, z=18/7
I want to know if my answer was correct. Thank you.

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2x-3y-z=5
-x-2y-3z=-3
3x+3y+7z=2
------------
Det = -2(-14+9) + 3(-7+9) -(-3+6)
= 10 + 6 - 3
= 13
-----------
I get:
x = -5
y = 1
z = 2

solutions using Cramer's rule
x=-65/13=-5
y=13/13=1
z=26/13=2
x=-5
y=1
z=2
(x,y,z)=(-5,1,2)
