Question 1108995: please help me solve this equation:
solve x and y
5x-2y=4/3.......(1)
x+3y=5/6........(2)
using guessian method

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve x and y
5x-2y=4/3.......(1)
x+3y=5/6........(2)
---------------
15x - 6y = 4
6x + 18y = 5
==============
|15   -6   -4|
| 6   18   -5|

---
Det = 15*18 + 6*6 = 306
---
x*Det = -6*-5 + 18*4 = 102
x = 1/3
==============
-y*Det = 15*-5 + 6*4 = -51
y = 1/6
