Not sure of the context you are asking about, but if you mean within a function, we are talking about x's and y's, and the y's that correspond to each x.
For example, if we have y = 2x - 3 and x is 5, then the corresponding element would be y = 7.
If you are talking chemistry, it means something completely different.

Corresponding elements: This is a term used in geometry to indicate figures, most often involving angles, that are found in the same place in two similar shapes. For example, let's say that you are looking at two triangles, let's call them T1 and T2, where the lower left angle in T1 is the same as the one on T2, let's call the angles T1-A and T2-B. Angle T1-A is the corresponding angle to T2-B on the right, because they are in the same location in the two similar shapes. We say T1-A corresponds to T2-B.
