x-y+z=-1 x+y+3z=-3 2x-y+2z=0
I've tried this like 15 times and cannot figure it out. Most of the time I would check what I got and it would be 1 instead of -1 or 3 instead of -3... I know how to do them I think. But I just can't get it.

Question 238599: I was given two points on finding an equation in slope-intercept form through (8, -1) and (4, 3). Here is what I have done and I have no clue if it is right or not.
m=3-(-1)/4-8
m=4/-4
m= -1
y-3 = -1 (x-4)
y-3 = -1x -4
y = -1x + 4 + 1
y = -1x + 5
would this be the equation in slope- intercept form?

Question 238600: Use slopes to show that the square with virtices at (-2,5), (4, 5), (4, -1), and (-2, -1) has diagonals that are perpendicular.
I have looked over my chapter this week and I really need a refresher course quickly because it has been over 30 years since I have taken a math clas of this nature. This is only my first week and I have become really frustrated and lord knows, I have got to pass this class to get my degree in MR. I just need to learn how to function with all these x's and y's.
