Question 82080: Can someone assist me in this problem? Thanks in advance.
A right triangle is a triangle with one angle measuring 90°. In a right triangle, the lengths of the sides are related by the Pythagorean Theorem,c2=a2+b2 , where c is the length of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the 90° angle). Find the length of the hypotenuse when the other two sides’ measurements are 6 feet and 8 feet

Question 82171: Hello out there,I need some help with some slope problems that is giving me a hard time,the first one is,Write the point-slope form of the line that passes through (3,-3)and (5,1).The second one is,Write an equation in slope-intercept form of the line having the given slope and passing through the given point:m=o,(0,-3).The next one is,Write the equation in slope-intercept form of the passing through each pair of points:(6,-2)and (3,-4).The last one is,Write the equation in slope-intercept form of the line passing through each pair of points:(-8,2)and (0,6),thanks for whoever can help.

Question 82152: OK, the problem is: Solve the system of equations using the substitution method.
If the answer is a unique solution, present it as an ordered pair: (x, y). If not, specify whether the answer is “no solution” or “infinitely many solutions.”
-7x + y = 4
2x + 8y = 0
my understanding is; I should first solve the top equation because the y has a coefficient of 1 (not sure why, but that's my guess) when I do this I get:
x = -(-y+4/7) and then I am lost . . .

Question 82207: The problem is: Solve the system of equations using the addition (elimination) method.
If the answer is a unique solution, present it as an ordered pair: (x, y). If not, specify whether the answer is “no solution” or “infinitely many solutions.”
x + y = 4
2x – y = 2
I have no clue how to even begin these types of problems. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Question 82223: I know how to do graphs but I do not know how to do slopes could someone help me please.
Find the slope of the graphed line
I did the graph and I tried to copy and paste it here but it would not paste. The graph points are (-5,-2) and (5,-2) with a trend line going through from the left side to the right side. I am sorry that I could not put the actual graph here it would have been easier for you to understand what I am talking about, but all of you are smarter in math than I am you should be able to figure it out without any problems. Again Thank all of you for all of your help.
