Question 59952: My Homework question is: Solve each system of equations by graphing. If the two equations produce parallel lines, write no solution. If the two equations produce the same line, write infinite number of solutions.
write equation in terms of y first:
1) 2X - y = 4 is y = 2X - 4
2.) 2X + 3y = 12 is y = -2/3X + 4 ( are my 2 equations right?) because
when I try to show this on a graph it is difficult. Please help me show on a graph Using these points: for X, I have, 0, 3, 4 (I nee to find y, for both equations the points are the same for X and I need to find y and graph. Please help show me these steps. Thanks

X = 8
a. Identify m:
b. What type of line is it?
c. Create a Table.
d. Graph the equation.
Over to the right was a blank graph and a chart that had an "x" and a "y" at the top and a space to put 5 numbers under each.
Does that mean that it will be a verticle line with a slope (M) of 0? Also since X = 8 does that mean all the numbers under "X" are 8 and I just pick points to plot for "Y"?
