Question 608408: Given A(-4,0) and B(4,0), in each case find the equation of the set of points P such that the slope of AP is twice the slope of BP. Also, the consecutive question asks the exact same thing, but the slope of AP must be one more than the slope of BP. So far, I've came up with y=2mx+b, and y=mx+(b-1), but I'm stumped after that. I've already asked a couple of questions, but I really appreciate all the help I can get, because my teacher is assigning an extremely difficult final review with questions like, solve for y: (log(3)x)*(log(x)2x)*(log(2x)y)=log(x)x^2, which took me FOREVER to solve after I figured out how to use the change of base formula...

Question 608560: I am tutoring my granddaughter and I am stuck. We have our known x and y numbers and need to write the formula to express them.
For the following sets of points, what is the equation: X=0, Y=5...X=1, Y=2...X=2, Y=-1...x=2, y=-1, and x=3, Y=4. I can see that x is increasing by 1 and y is decreasing by 3, but for the live of me I can't figure out how to write the formula.
For the following sets of points, what is the equation: x=-2, y=1 ... x=0, y=0,... x=2, y=-1, ,and x=4, y=-2. x is increasing by 2, y is decreasing by 1.

Question 608950: Convert the linear velocity (25 km/hr) of a car going around a round-about to angular velocity in rad/s. Assume the radius of the circle the car is travelling is 10 m.
I think I have this correct however could someone check it for me please.
km/h to m/s = 25*1000/3600=6.94m/s
w=v/r = m/s/radius = 6.94m/s/10m = 0.694rad/s
