Question 998467: The amount of blood in the body can be predicted by the equation y= 0.07w, where y is the number of pints of blood and w is the weight of a person in pounds.
Please help me understand how to graph this equation.

Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Well set up your x and y axes where w is your x and y is your y.
You'll probably want to mark off pounds in 10 or 20 pound increments.
Since there is no y-intercept, the first point you plot is (0,0).
Your slope is .07. That means you go up .07 units and then one unit to the right and plot another point...OR...you can move up .7 pints and over 10 pounds and plot a point, then repeat...connect them for the line...
