Answer by josgarithmetic(39620) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How are you having a hard time with this? You know or should, how to create a table of x and y values. You covered what the form y=mx+b means. Everything is clear. You understand the meaning of every variable in the form, y=mx+b and can identify this form as "slope-intercept" form.
How, how, how are you having a hard time?
Do you read, think, read and think again, several times for each section, and many of some individual pages and passages? Do you try to solve the example problems, and then recheck how is your work looking at the solution in the book - AFTER trying the example yourself?
