Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x intercept=-1/2 or (-.5,0)
y intercept=4 or (0,4)
Y=mX+b where (m)=SLOPE & (b)=Y INTERCEPT.
SLOPE=(4-0)/(0+.5)=4/.5=8
THUS THE EQUATION IS Y=8X+4 FOR THIS LINE.
