It's not really a question but more like it gives you the information and you put it into one of the equations above. So it asks that the equation contains the x-intercept of 4x-y=8 and the point (-4,3).

The intercept is a point . You find the value of by substituting for and solving for in your given equation.

Once you have determined the point , then you can use it along with your given point, in the two-point form of the equation of a line.
