Question 983601: I need help solving y= 5+4x
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It is a line with slope 5 (before the x) and y-intercept (where x=0) at 5. Slopes of 5 are steep, up and to the right.
Here is the graph.

Way 2:
Table of points
Use small numbers for x
X=0, y=5. (0,5) is one point.
X=1, y=5+4(1); 5+4=9. (1,9) is another.
2 points determine a line. If it is y as a function of x, as it is here,
Draw a line between the two points. You are done.
