Hi there,
To find where a parabola cuts the
'x' axis make y = 0
Factorise x^2 - 5x + 4 = 0
(x - 1)(x - 4) = 0
Therefore,
x - 1 = 0
x = 1
or
x - 4 = 0
x = 4
