solve -8y = 20+ 2/5x so the equation is in standard for with integer coefficients?
use .4 for 2/5 and assume it is
-8y = 20 + .4x
-.4x - 8y = 20
multiply equation by -10, get rid of the decimal and changing the signs
4x + 80y = -200
simplify, divide by 4
x + 20y = -50
