Question 978775: How to Graph the linear equation using any three points.
2x+3y=12

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The points I would use would be
let x=0; 3y=12, y=4 (0,4)
let y=0; 2x=12, x=6 (6,0)
pick x=3, since it is easier to use.
6+3y=12
3y=6
y=2
(3,2)
Any time you have an equation like this where the coefficients are evenly divisible into the right side, set each term =0.
