Tickets for a play cost 250 pesos for adults and 200 pesos for children. The sponsor of the show collected a total amount of not more than 44,000 pesos from more than 150 adults and children who watched the plane.
d. Give 4 possible numbers of adults and children who watched the plane. Justify your answers.
----
c + a > 150
200c + 250a <= 44000
-----
Graph the boundaries of the inequalities::
c > -a+150
c <= (-5/4)a + 220

----------------
Some Solutions for (c,a):: (13,202); (31,150); (45,130): (95,70)
-------------------------
e. The sponsor of the tickets realized that if the prices of the tickets were reduced, more people would have watched the play. If you were the sponsor of the plane, would you reduce the prices of the tickets? Why?
I'll leave that to you.
Cheers,
