Let sita age be x and gita age be y so equation x-6 = 3(y-6)
and x 12 = 2(y 12)
on solving equation we get x= 60 years which is sita age and gita age is y which is 24 years (present age)

y Sita's age Now
y - 6 = 3(x-6)
-(y+12 = 2(x+12)
-18 = 3(x-6) - 2(x+12)
-18 = 3x - 18 - 2x - 24
= x, Gita's age Now. Sita is y - 6 = 3(x-6),
And...checking
y+12 = 2(x+12)
72 = 2(36)
