Question 91213: Solve each system by graphing. y=-2/3x
2x+3y=5
I tried to use the formula y=mx+b. Can you show me line by line instructions so I can get the steps straight in my head. Thanks for your help.

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve each system by graphing. y=-2/3x
2x+3y=5
-------------
Put both in slope-intercept form and graph them:
y=-2/3x
y=(-2/3)x+(5/3)
--------------

-----------
The lines are parallel so there is no solution for the system of equations.
