Solve. 6(2 – x) = 4x

Answer:

6(2 – x) = 4x

Remove the parenthesis by as follows...

6*2 – 6*x = 4x

==> 12 - 6x = 4x

Add 6x on both sides of the expression...

==> 12 - 6x + 6x = 4x + 6x

==> 12 = 10x

Divide both sides by 10

==>

==> 1.2 = x

So, x = 1.2
