We can divide every term of the first one through by 2
and every term of the second one through by 3:



We need go no further because we can tell from here that
there is no solution, because those two equations have
identical left sides, but unequal right sides, making
them inconsistent.

You can continue on with elimination or substitution but you'll 
get no solution if you do.
