Question 878724: The yearly production of a 4 foot orange tree is 26 pounds of oranges. A 15 foot tree produces 90 pounds. Let h represent the height of an orange tree and p the number of pounds of oranges produced. Use the information to answer the questions below.
I got the ordered pairs part and the ordered pairs are (4,26) and (15,90)
the point-slope of an equation is p-26=64/11(h-4)
Use the equation to predict the number of pounds of oranges produced by an 18 foot tree; and a 20 foot tree.
that is where it gets confusing for me. can someone help me out with this please?

Your equation in point-slope form seems good, and you just need to solve it for p, so that you have slope-intercept form. Then you just evaluate p for h=18 and for h=20; so you will get two different values for p, each corresponding to the two asked values of h.
