1) you cannot find x from this info. You have 2 unknowns --> you need 2 pieces of info. You just have one piece of info, the one equation so no joy.

2) you mean re-arrange?

3) first integer is x. next one will be x+1 so
x + x+1 = 145
2x+1 = 145
2x = 144
x = 144/2
x = 72
so numbers are 72 and 73

4) the 2 values in your formula B and b represent the lengths of the 2 parallel sides of the trapezium.
