find the equation of the parallel line to 6x-3y=12 and through (2,6)
Answer
6X-3Y=12
-3Y=-6X+12
3Y = 6x -12
Y =6X/3 -12/3
Y=2X-4
by comparison Y=MX+c
slope of line will be 2
if lines are parallel than slope of both lines will be same or equal
equation of line passing through given points (X1,y1)that point given as (2,6)
Y-Y1 =M(X-X1)
Y- 2 = 2(x-6)
Y-2 =2X-12
2X-Y=10
Answer equation of line will be 2X-Y =10
