Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5a divided by 7 equals -10
-----------
(5a)/7 = -10
Multiply both sides by 7 to get:
5a = -70
Divide both sides by 5 to get:
a = -14
