What is the slope of the following lines? And could you provide a step by step explanation on the process when trying to find the Slope?
y= -7.921
Write in the slope intercept form:
y = 0*x-7.921
slope = 0
The line is a horizontal line.
--------------
x= 9.124
Generate two points based on the equation:
(9.124,5) and (9.124,10)
slope = [10-5]/0 is undefined
slope is undefined or "infinite"; the line is a vertical line.
