What is the slope, x-intercept, and y-intercept of the following line?
3x + 4y = 9
---------
x-intercept:
Let y=0
Then 3x=9
x=3
--------------
y-intercept:
Let x=0
Then 4y=9
y=9/4
--------
To get the slope, solve for y:
y=(-3/4)x+(9/4)
The slope is -3/4
