Question 860059: slope of 5/6 and passes through the point (0, –6)
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
m= 5/ 6
The required line passes through both the point. So we select the point and plug it with the slope
Plug value of the slope and point ( 0 , -6 ) in
Y = m x + b
-6.00 = 5/6 * 0 + b
-6.00 = 0 + b
b= -6 -0
b= -6
So the equation will be
Y = 5/6 x -6
