Question 859112: how do I graph y=-3/7x+5
Answer by Fombitz(32388)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First graph the y intercept (when x=0).

So the first point is (0,5)

.
.
THe slope describes the change in y divided by the change in x. So if I move 7 units in x, I need to move -3 units in y.
Start at (0,5).
(0,5)+(7,-3)=(0+7,5-3)=(7,2)
That's another point on the line.
Plot it and draw the line through both points.
