 To find the x-intercepts (the places where the graph crosses the x axis), you plug in y = 0 and solve for x
x^2+4x=5+y
x^2+4x=5+0
x^2+4x=5
x^2+4x-5 = 0
(x - 1)(x + 5) = 0
x - 1 = 0 or x + 5 = 0
x = 1 or x = -5
So the two x-intercepts, as ordered pairs, are:  (1,0) and (-5,0)
