I plot the point.
Then I plot a point 3 units right and 2 down.
That is what a slope of means:
as x increases by , y increases by .
Then, I can repeat the process, or reverse it
(3 units left and 2 up) as many times as I want.
I could get (-1 ,2), (2,0), (5,-2), (8,-5),
(-7,6), (-10,8).
All the points plotted will form a straight line, so we just need two points, strategically placed:
