Question 848224: How do I identify the slope and y-intercept of the graph of each equation and graph that equation? problem: y=-3x +3

Slope-intercept form : y = mx+b <-- remember this.
m is our slope. b is our intecept.
You may think of m as move and b as begin, though this is not what they really stand for.
so m = -3 <--- slope (perhaps think of this as -3 / 1]
b = 3 <--- y-intercept.
So I begin at y=3,
Then I move down 3 and right 1 and plot a point. You could connect the dots at this point, but I always do 3 points so instead make a point that goes up 3 and left 1 as well. It should be a downward sloping line that goes through (-1,6), (0,3), (1,0)
