straight line passes through the points (0,2) (-6,-7)
equation of the st.line is y-2 = [(-7 -2)/(-6 -0) ](x-0)
or y-2 = [(-9)/(-6)]x
or y = (9/6 )x +2
or y = 3/2 x +2
this is the required slope intercept form.

Determine the slope-intercept form of the equation of the line. The points on the graph are (0,2), (-6,-7).
There is a couple of ways to do this. I'll show you one.
The slope-intercept form of the equation of a line is: , where m=slope and (0,b) is the y-intercept.
You have (0,b)=(0,2), but you don't have the slope, m.
You can find the slope using the slope formula: , where (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are the given points.
(x1,y1)=(0,2) and (x2,y2)=(-6,-7)

Now substitute m=3/2 and (0,b)=(0,2) into y=mx+b
