To graph y=-8, find the the point (0,-8). Draw a horizontal line. You have graphed the equation. Sample points include: (0,-8); (1,-8); (-1,-8) etc. The equation is in slope-intercept form. The entire equation is technically y=0x-8. However the 0x is understood and the equation is simplified to y=-8. Slope is zero.

The is open-ended if you want more than one point. Do you see how obvious is the second coordinate?

What is x?
y equals something, but where does x occur? How is x expressed?

Point 1 (thisCanBeAnyReal, -8)
Point 2 (thisTooAnyReal, -8)
