2x+y=5x-8,
5x-8=3y+2,
2x+y=3y+2
A) from the second equation we can see that
5x-8=3y+2
subtract 2 from both sides
3y=5x-10

B)x = 7/2, y = 5/2
C) 9.5 each side
28.5 for the perimeter
