Question 839993: Stuck on a slope question, I think it is the fractions that are messing me up. Can you help me?
Find equations of the lines that pass through the point (1, 9) and have the given slope.
Given slope = 1/3
I used y-y1=m(x-x1) for all of them and did fine, this one is giving me trouble and don't want to get marked wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Don't let fractions mess you up!

y - 9 = (1/3)*(x - 1)

y - 9 = (1/3)x - 1/3

y = (1/3)x + 26/3
