Set W = width, L = length
2W + 2L = perimeter
2W + 2L = 326 for our problem
L = W + 45
Substitute (W + 45) for L in 2W + 2L = 326
2W + 2(W + 45) = 326
2W + 2W + 90 = 326
4W + 90 = 326
add -90 to each side
4W = 236
divide each side by 4
W = 59
Since L = W + 45
L = 59 + 45 = 104
