Question 828396: I need to find the slope line for y = 7x+2.
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20081)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The slope of a line is the coefficient of x when the
equation of the line is is solved for y.

y = 7x+2

is already solved for y. The coefficient of x is 7,
so the slope of the line is 7.

FYI, the +2 indicates that the line crosses the y-axis at the
point (0,2).
