Question 827872: Using point slope form, find the equation of a line perpendicular to the line y=4/5x-9 and passing through the point (-40, 20). Write your answer in slope intercept form.
Wouldn't I just flip 4/5 and it becomes -5/4? and the answer would just be y=-5/4x-9 or would I have to write out an equation using the two points?
Answer by oscargut(2103) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Answer y=-5/4x-30
