Through (2,3); slope 5
I think the equation is y-y1=m(x-x1) but I can't seem to get the answer in the book.

Hi,
A line can be represented by 3 different standard forms.
May be the answer is not given in the point-slope form.
Ex: line through (-2,0) slope of 5
lst |point-slope form, Yes!
0r y = 5x + 10 | standard slope-intercept form
0r 5x -y = -10 |standard form
line through(2,3) slope 5
lst
0r y = 5x -7
0r 5x - y = 7
