Two points determines a straight line, which can be written in slope-intercept form y=mx+b.
To find the equation of that line, you must first find the slope "m" of the line, using the formula m=%28RISE%29%2F%28RUN%29=%28y%5B2%5D+-y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D-x%5B1%5D%29+.

Next, there are two ways to find the equation. One method is called the "Point-slope formula" y-y%5B1%5D=m%28x-x%5B1%5D%29+. The second method (which I recommend!) is to substitute the slope and one of x and y values of one of the points into the formula y=mx+b, and solve for b.
