Remember y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept!!!

Now, the y-intercept is -2, so on an xy graph, go DOWN 2 units on the y-axis, and put a point. The slope m is 3, which is 3%2F1=%28RISE%29%2F%28RUN%29+. With your pencil starting on the y-intercept at -2, go UP 3 units, then RIGHT 1 unit, and put another point. Connect the first and second points, and continue the line in each direction.
