Simplify both equations:
3x + 5y = 10 ---(1)
-4x = -9 -------(2)
From (2): we can find out that x = 2.25.
Substitute this into (1) and you get:
6.75 + 5y = 10
5y = 3.25
y = 3.25/5 or 0.65
