Question 796748: If G(x)= x^2-4x+1, and f(x)=-2x+5 find each value.
f(1/2)=?
f(x+2)=?
After solving do you mind telling the steps on how to do these kind of problems?
Please specify why you have to that and that if knowing how to solve.

Hi there, it has been a while since i have done these but if i remember whatever is in the brackets you sub in to wherever you see x..
f(1/2) = -2(1/2) + 5
= -1 + 5 = 4
f(x+2) = -2(x+2) + 5
= -2x -4 + 5 = -2x + 1
any further questions please feel free to email me
