x-2y=6
Answer by checkley75(3666) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-2y=6
set x=0 & solve for y. thus:
0-2y=6
y=6/-2
y=-3 answer for this point is (0,-3)
set x=1
1-2y=6
-2y=6-1
-2y=5
y=5/-2
y=-2.5 answer for this point is (1,-2.5)
set x=2
2-2y=6
-2y=6-2
-2y=4
y=4/-2
y=-2 answer for this point is (2,-2)
set x=4
4-2y=6
-2y=6-4
-2y=2
y=2/-2
y=-1 answer for this point is (4,-1)
set x=12
12-2y=6
-2y=6-12
-2y=-6
y=-6/-2
y=3 answer for this point is (12,3)
the equation of this line in the proper form is
y=x/2-3 & ploted looks like the following.
(graph 300x300 pixels, x from -10 to 10, y from -10 to 10, y = x/2 -3).
