Question 777424: The length of a rectangle is twice the width , if its perimeter is 80, what is the dimension of the rectangle?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Width = x
Length = 2x
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2*width + 2*length
80 = 2x + 4x
6x = 80
x = 80/6
x = 13.3
Width = 13.3
Length = 26.6
Hope this helps.
