Question 758259: How do you find the coordinate vertex for Y=-2(x-4)(x-2)? I am very confused please help thank you?
Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The given equation form is good for finding zeros. It is also good for finding the symmetry axis on which the vertex will be.
Y has two zeros. These zeros are at and . Directly in the middle is x=3 which runs through the vertex. = the value for Y at the vertex.
